Post 3 I have just been to an emergency room today and they said would give me amoxicillin (a prescription medicine) for my sore throat. I do not think have an allergic reaction to the tablets, just a stomach upset. If I am getting treated for a sore throat, I will have that antibiotic and use an alternative. This is my first time using one and I can't seem to figure out what's going on with the patient. All I know is there are many ways to get antibiotics and you can't just ask for one.
